World’s Most Vaccinated Country Sees A Surge In Covid Cases, WHO Starts Investigation

Seychelles has vaccinated more of its population against Covid-19 than any other country. But, The country is experiencing its largest coronavirus outbreak since the beginning of the pandemic. Seychelles is bringing back covid restrictions despite inoculating most of its people. The archipelago nation has fully vaccinated over 60% of its population. Seychelles saw active cases more than double in the week to May 7, raising concerns that vaccination might not help end the covid pandemic.
