How India tackles the world’s largest vaccine rollout | COVID-19 Special
India kickstarted its vaccination programme against Covid-19 on January 16th. Said to be the world’s largest immunization programme against the virus, the country is looking at vaccinating millions of healthcare and other frontline workers in the first round of this programme. While the beginning of this vaccination drive in the world’s second worst hit country has come as a positive news to many, experts have been raising some concerns.Poor infrastructure, shoddy roads and traffic chaos stand between delivery drivers and patients. A survey indicates as many as 62 percent of Indians are reluctant to get the vaccine.
