An independent review into the handling of the coronavirus pandemic has found that warnings were ignored and the WHO was ill-equipped. The independent panel is also cautioning another catastrophic pandemic could happen unless “urgent and vital” steps are taken. Oksana Pyzik, senior teaching fellow in the School of Pharmacy at University College London, tells The World the report highlights the limitations of the world health body.
